Nefront, Inc. has been awarded the title of University of Tsukuba Startup

On 17 March 2026 Nefront, Inc. was recognized by the University of Tsukuba as a University of Tsukuba Startup, and on 19 March 2026 the university’s Office of Global Industry-University Collaboration conferred the title. We are also listed in the office’s List of University of Tsukuba Startups.

Nefront was founded by Shota Imamura, our Representative Director and CEO, while he was a student at the University of Tsukuba. Imamura studied at the university’s College of Information Science. Kazuki Hemmi, our Executive Officer and COO, earned his doctorate in social engineering (industrial engineering) at the University of Tsukuba Graduate School. We will keep building our platform for a building’s information on the technology we developed at the university and the relationships we formed in Tsukuba.
