We presented at Geekten 2022

We presented at Geekten 2022, in the “aiming for commercialization” category — one of Japan’s largest pitch events for student engineers — and talked about IndooAR, the indoor AR cloud our team is building.

■ About Geekten

Geekten is a pitch contest for students who want to become engineers, run with the aim of “raising the engineers of the future”. Participants show their own work and find out what is fun about making things, what is hard about it, and how far it can go.

A total of 180 projects and roughly 400 student engineers, chosen through a preliminary review, present across 15 themes. In the three weeks of “finishing development” before they present, participants polish their work with support from the sponsoring companies.

Nefront uses AI and AR to make the information in a building easy to see and use.
IndooAR, our spatial information management system, uses image recognition to work out where you are — even indoors, where GPS barely reaches. From there it can guide you, show you AR content, and keep track of information and equipment.
We also offer Filefront, an AI drawing search service. It finds the sheet you need out of a large set of PDF drawings, by drawing type or by keyword.
